- Take the A12 motorway/ E30 towards Berlin.
- Take the A10 Berlin/Hamburg motorway.
- Take exit 4 at Berlin-Hellersdorf, follow the sign for B1/B5 Zentrum/ Friedrichshain and keep on the B1 towards Potsdamer Platz.

From the north (Hamburg):
- Take the A24 motorway/ E26 towards Berlin.
- Take the A10 Berlin/ Frankfurt/Oder motorway.
- On the A114, take exit 5 at Prenzlauer Promenade towards Zentrum, go along Spandauer Strasse towards Potsdamer Platz.

From Hannover/Leipzig:
- A2/E30 or A9/E51 towards Berlin.
- Take the A10 motorway, exiting at Berlin Zehlendorf.
- Follow the A115 motorway towards Zentrum (city centre).
- At the A100 Dreieck Charlottenburg junction, take the Kaiserdamm Süd exit, then B2/B5 Kaiserdamm, Zentrum B1 towards Potsdamer Platz.
